The classic combination of gold and black, with a modern texture twist. Each lanky piece of sterling silver is individually patterned then gilded with genuine 24k gold using the ancient Korean art of Keum Boo, which literally means “attached gold.” The process involves multiple painstaking steps but the result is a striking pop of textured gold against deeply patinaed sterling silver.
The earrings measure approximately 1-3/4” by 3/8” as formed, and hang approximately 2-1/4” from the top of the earwire. Due to their handcrafted nature, the precise placement of the gold and patterning will vary from pair to pair. Handcrafted to order in my Texas studio; please allow 5 – 7 days from order for shipping.
